AgricultureID launches its Journal with a published verification standard
The agriculture knowledge platform opened an editorial surface on 1 September 2026 and documented how it verifies data — including what it refuses to publish.
AgricultureID opened its Journal on 1 September 2026, adding an editorial surface to a platform that until then published structured agricultural data only.
What the Journal covers
Alongside the launch note, AgricultureID published a companion piece describing how it verifies agricultural data. Early coverage spans regulatory status, input authorisation, variety identity and drought monitoring — subjects where a claim is either supported by a named source or it is not.

AgricultureID stated that it “holds 1,068 structured entities across 27 content types, drawn from 213 catalogued sources and served over 1,571 routes.”
These figures are the state the project reported on that date. They are not restated here as a current total.
What it declines to publish
The launch note is unusually explicit about absence. AgricultureID states that its main platform “holds 24,916 farm economics figures and publishes no gross margin, no net return and no break-even price, because every one of those needs revenue and no source we hold carries any.”
A knowledge platform documenting the numbers it will not derive is a stronger signal of method than one documenting only what it publishes.
